Our attest services include performing audits, reviews, and compilations of financial statements for our clients throughout South Florida.
Audits:
The purpose of having an audit is to provide financial statement users with an opinion by the auditor on whether the financial statements are prepared in accordance with the proper financial reporting framework. An audit enhances the degree of confidence that intended users can place in the financial statements. The audit engagement provides the highest level of
assurance to stakeholders that the financial statements are presented in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Reviews:
Less extensive than an audit, but more involved than a compilation, a review engagement consists primarily of analytical procedures applied to the financial statements, and various inquiries of your company’s management team. Reviews are conducted in agreement with Statements on Standards for Accounting and Review Services (SSARS).
Compilations:
A compilation provides no assurance regarding the company’s financial statements. During a compilation, CPAs will prepare the financial data provided into a financial statement format that conforms to the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
